We've been nominated for an Award!

We're absolutely delighted to have been nominated for the Bikebiz Awards Specialist Distributor of the Year. Bikebiz asked us to write a few words about Marches Parts Co, and we thought we would share them with you here too.

Who are Marches Parts Co?
Founded in spring 2025 by Matt Duley and myself, Sandy Plenty, this small (yet perfectly formed) business was born out of necessity, then grew as more brands came on board. Both of us come from IBD’s, most recently at The Trailhead Bicycle Company, my long-established shop. Matt is Trailhead's shop manager, now slowly stepping back to focus on Marches Parts.

History
In early 2023, Trailhead handled 3PL for PNW Components, something Matt had championed. That let PNW test the UK market, and let us, without quite realising it, test being a distributor. When PNW asked us to take on UK distribution properly, a standalone hub felt like the natural step. Marches Parts Co was born, named after the Shropshire area on the Welsh border.

Mudhugger then approached us to distribute their mudguards, a brand we'd already helped with R&D - a great cold-weather line for winter. Next came exclusive UK distribution for Godfather's Garage, the maintenance range from MTB pioneer Wade Simmons. Our fourth brand, Bridgedale Socks, carries real heritage; we now distribute their bike socks across the UK and Ireland. All four are handled with care through our dealer network.

A little more about us
Sandy's three decades in the cycle industry - retail and product testing - combined with Matt's retail knowledge and grip on systems and stock control - are key to our success. We push back against a discount-driven industry, leading instead with brand knowledge and the personal experience we are accustomed to delivering behind an IBD counter.

As a new distributor, we understand what retailers, big or small, need from a distribution partner. Our retail background is a real USP, to dealers and brand partners alike, who get more focus from us than inside a huge portfolio.

Above all, we're honoured to be sat alongside these other brilliant distributors in the running for this award.
