FRX - Front or Mini Rear Mudhugger
FRX - Front or Mini Rear Mudhugger
Mudhugger FRX mtb mudguard, designed and made in the UK from 100% recycled black polypropylene.
The FRX mtb mudguard was designed with the help of World Cup and Enduro World Series riders wanting awesome mud and spray protection with zero faff. Weighing in at only 80g but measuring 435mm in length the FRX provides excellent mud/spray stopping performance without breaking the bank.
Also perfect as a mini rear Mudhugger mtb mudguard to protect the BB area and bearings on full suss MTB's.
Fits: 26", 27.5", 27.5+" and 29" wheels with tyres up to 3 inches wide on a 'boost' fork.
Length: 435mm, width 90mm Weight: Approx 80g
Price includes VAT where applicable.
The 3 holes used to attach the MAX extender are now pre formed (although skinned over so if you don't need them they are invisible from the outside) just pop through with a small screw driver (4mm diameter or less) or similar and you're ready to go.

With various holes for fitting to different fork braces the FRX Mudhugger mtb mudguard is suitable for all wheel sizes, 26er, 650B and 29er wheel. It also works on Plus wheels with tyres up to 3 inches wide in a ‘Boost’ fork. For the ultimate protection on your bike add a front Hugger MAX extension.
General rule is that if you can get your index finger between the fork brace and top of the tyre there is enough clearance to fit to your bike. If you wish to purchase a coloured decal for your FRX they can be found on their own page.

We recommend you check fork crown/brace clearance at full compression prior to installing. Some fork designs the crown can pass the fork brace at full compression which could cause the mudguard to break.
How Tough is a Mudhugger mtb mudguard?
When we designed the Mudhugger mtb mudguards we wanted a simple, no fuss product that not only looks good, but works and can withstand the rough and tumble of your mountain biking adventures.
Using an FRX Mudhugger mtb mudguard with the nose trimmed if necessary (can be cut down with kitchen scissors) and then ziptied to the seat stays and brace. SIMPLE :)
(We strongly recommend using helitape or similar to protect the paint on the seat stays and brace, the FRX doesn't come with tape, but packs are available from us)
